When I finally started my blog a few months ago, my main issue was to continue with the pace of creating new content every day. At first, it was easy, but as time went I found it stressful and tiring.

Luckily, being a person who likes watching youtube, I landed on a video talking about “can ai content rank?” One of the AIs mentioned were Copy.ai, Anyword AI, and Rytr AI among others. That was the begging of my new blog journey. You can check my Anyword Ai tutorial, it is my second favorite tool.

Copy.ai is by far my best ai copywriting tool. It is my personal favorite and uses it in almost all my blog post.

In this article, am going to show you all the steps required to use copy.ai and generate blog posts that can rank on page 1 of Google SERPs.

But first, let us define Copy ai …

What is Copy.ai?

Copy.ai is an AI-powered tool for writing product descriptions, blog posts, and other long-form content. You simply enter a keyword as a prompt to start generating content. The tool generates an initial piece of content that you can then edit and customize as you see fit.

Quick Notes!!! (Before you get started)

  • Find a relevant keyword for your blog post (AI won’t)
  • Optimize a title (AI can generate one, but optimize it for humans)
  • Make sure to write 30% and let AI generate 70% for you.

The first plan is free. The free plan comes with 100 credits for a first-time user and 10 credits are refreshed into your account every month.

For the pro version plan, it starts at $49 per month and if you pay yearly, you get a discount to only $35 per month.

The last option is a custom plan where you decide how many people you want on your team. Note that additional charges are added the more sits you need.

How To Generate Blog Posts Using Copy.ai

Copy.ai has the simplest interface to work with. Create an account using this link (see image above). They offer Google Authentication, and Facebook signing options to make your work easier by registering using an email.

You need to answer a few questions and help Copy.ai understand what you want to be generated. Again this option is optional.

After you are done, you will be redirected to a page “create your first draft” if you choose “blog” on the questions. Just click “back” or “Copy.ai” logo to be redirected back to the page shown in the image below. That is where we will start.

  • 1 – You can always create a project by using those two options
  • 2 – Create a full blog by just providing the title and keyword (I don’t recommend it, so in this blog we will create a project of our own)
  • 3 – This is good if you want to generate Tips or catchy words for your blog
  • 4 – generate texts that can be used on your landing page to convert sales
  • 5 – See all the templates that Copy.ai has to offer
  • 6 – All the tools you will be using when creating a blog post and other templates
  • 7 – You can upgrade anytime using this button
  • 8 – You can see and edit all your projects as time goes by

Step 1: Describe the blog post you want to write

Click on “create new project” as seen in the above image. You should be redirected to a page as seen below. Fill in the information required.

  • 1 – Write your project title (You can skip this option and generate using the AI, which I will show you in the next step). Kindly note I recommend having a well-optimized title to get the best output
  • 2 – Always skip this step unless you have a relevant website the AI can learn from
  • 3 – When you are done with the 1 & 2, you can “create project
  • 4 – Skip all the 1,2 & 3 and do it when you start editing.

Step 2: Learn the interface of Copy.ai

After step 1, you will proceed to the main editing area as seen in the image below.

  • 1 – You can change your project title
  • 2 – Choose tools to use. “Blog” we are going to use the blog tools for this tutorial
  • 3 – After we choose “blog” expand it and use the option “Bullet point to blog section” it is my favorite tool
  • 4 – Add a blog topic or generate one using the AI
  • 5 – Add the main point you want to be generated by the AI
  • 6 – Choose a tone (see step 3)
    • Note!!! 4,5 & 6 will be explained further in steps 3 and 5
  • 7 – Use “create copy” anytime you want to generate content
  • 8 – Edit the content generated and optimize it
  • 9 – Collapse the edit section (8)
  • 10 – Easily create new projects
  • 11 – The number of credits remaining
  • 12 – Tools to help you optimize things like H1, H2, H3…or even make text bold and italic, redo and undo (see step 6)

Step 3: Generate the Title of your blog post

It is time to generate the title of your blog post. On the left menu search for “blog” expand the options to choose “blog ideas”

  • 2 – Select “blog ideas” Note!!! I prefer this to “blog title
  • X – What you have selected in 2
  • 3 – Add the main Keyword (optional, I prefer to leave it blank)
  • 4 – Add a short description of what you want to write (I always prefer 50 to 75 characters for the best results)
  • 5 – Choose a tone (I always use professional)
  • 6 – Click “create copy” when done with other steps

Step 4: Generate an Introduction to your blog post

In the next few steps, we will repeat most of the steps as done in Step 3.

Choose “Blog tools” then select “blog intro” Add all the required details as done in our previous step. When done click “create copy

Step 5: Generate the Outline of your blog post

In the left side menu, choose “blog tools > Blog Outline” Fill in the rest of the details as shown in the image below.

Step 6: Start Writing and Optimizing your Blog post

In the left side menu, choose “blog tools > Bullet Point to Blog Section” Fill in the rest of the details as shown in the image below.

Step 7: Generate a Long-form blog post

To create or write long-form content, repeat step 6 with all the outlines generated in step 5.

  • 11 – Upgrade your Copy.ai plan to pro and generate more
  • 12 – Check if your work is saved

Choose the best Paragraphs for your blog post and compile them to create a long-form blog post. You can always use different sections and write one that is well optimized for SEO.

    my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get setup?
    I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
    I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% sure.
